Due to a busy period, our extremely well established client based in Peterhead are looking to recruit an experienced Customs Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for 2-3 months starting as soon as possible.
The Administrator will be responsible for carrying out any administrative duties relating to HM Revenue & Customs within their department. All work shall be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and work instructions
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
·Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
·General admin duties i.e. typing, data input, filing, scanning, archiving
·Correspond and communicate professionally with both internal and external clients
·Update and utilise company systems - electronic and paper based
·Manage telephone calls and enquiries
·Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
·Experience in HM CUstoms & Excise procedures
·Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative to complete tasks given
·Commitment to continual improvement and a flexible approach to change in job role
·Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering HS&E excellence
